Many cults say the word "Trinity" is not found in the Bible. But this does not mean that the concept is not taught there.  The word "bible" is not found in the Bible either, but we use it anyway.  Likewise, the words "omniscience," which means "all knowing," "omnipotence," which means "all powerful," and "omnipresence," which means "present everywhere," are not found in the Bible either.  But we use these words to describe the attributes of God. So, to say that the Trinity isn't true because the word isn't in the Bible is an invalid argument

The word "trinity" is a term used to denote the Christian doctrine that God exists as a unity of three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  Each of the persons is distinct from the other, yet identical in essence.  In other words, each is fully divine in nature, but each is not the totality of the other persons of the Trinity.  Each has a will, loves, and says "I" and "You" when speaking.  The Father is not the same person as the Son, who is not the same person as the Holy Spirit, who is not the same person as the Father.  Each is divine, yet there are not three gods, but one God. There are three individual subsistences, or persons.  The word "subsistence" means something that has a real existence.  The word "person" denotes individuality and self awareness.  The Trinity is three of these, though the latter term has become the dominant one used to describe the individual aspects of God known as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

One God

Included in the doctrine of the Trinity is a strict monotheism which is the teaching that there exists in all the universe a single being known as God who is self-existent and unchangeable

Isaiah 43:10
“You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord,
“and my servant whom I have chosen,
that you may know and believe me
and understand that I am he.
Before me no god was formed,
nor shall there be any after me.

Isaiah 44:6
Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel
and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts:
“I am the first and I am the last;
besides me there is no god.

Isaiah 44:8
Fear not, nor be afraid;
have I not told you from of old and declared it?
And you are my witnesses!
Is there a God besides me?
There is no Rock; I know not any.”

Isaiah 45:5
I am the Lord, and there is no other,
besides me there is no God;

Since the Mormon thinks he can become a god, these four verses alone should defeat them.

Therefore, it is important to note that the doctrine of the trinity is not polytheistic as some of its critics proclaim.  Trinitarianism is monotheistic by definition and those who claim it is polytheistic demonstrate a lack of understanding of what it really is.

There is, though, an apparent separation of some functions among the members of the Godhead.  For example,

The Father chooses who will be saved

Ephesians 1:4-5
4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love 5 he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will,

The Son redeems them
Ephesians 1:7
7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,

The Holy Spirit seals them.
Ephesians 1:13
13 In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,

They are all called God.

I think most "christian" cults agree that the Father is God
Phillippians 1:2
2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ

The Son
John 1:1
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Colossians 2:8-9
8 See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ. 9 For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily,

Philippians 2:6
6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped,

Jesus didn't have to reach at being equal with God. He is equal with God.

The King James Versions says this: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

The father even calls Jesus God!

Hebrews 1:8-9
8 But of the Son he says,

“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever,
the scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your kingdom.
9 You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness;
therefore God, your God, has anointed you

with the oil of gladness beyond your companions.”

John 10:31-33
31 The Jews picked up stones again to stone him. 32 Jesus answered them, “I have shown you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you going to stone me?” 33 The Jews answered him, “It is not for a good work that we are going to stone you but for blasphemy, because you, being a man, make yourself God.”

The Holy Spirit
Acts 5:3-4
3 But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back for yourself part of the proceeds of the land? 4 While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal? Why is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to man but to God.”

Who is Savior?
The Bible clearly says Jehovah Alone is Savior
Isaiah 43:11
11 I, I am the Lord,
and besides me there is no savior.

Hosea 13:4
4 But I am the Lord your God
from the land of Egypt;
you know no God but me,
and besides me there is no savior.

But as it turns out Jesus is called our savior too.
Titus 2:13
13 waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,

Philippians 3:20
20 But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,

2 Timothy 1:10
10 and which now has been manifested through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,

Who can forgive sins?
If the pharisees knew one thing, it was the law.

God alone forgive sins
Mark 2:7
7 “Why does this man speak like that? He is blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?”

If we look closer at the same paragraph it says that Jesus forgave a man's sins
Mark 2:5-7
5 And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” 6 Now some of the scribes were sitting there, questioning in their hearts, 7 “Why does this man speak like that? He is blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?”

I have a question to ask you. Who raised Jesus from the dead?

It is an easy answer. God Raised Jesus

Romans 10:9
9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

1 Peter 1:21
21 who through him are believers in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

But Jesus claimed he would raise himself
John 2:19-22
19 Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” 20 The Jews then said, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will you raise it up in three days?” 21 But he was speaking about the temple of his body. 22 When therefore he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this, and they believed the Scripture and the word that Jesus had spoken.

John 10:17-18
17 For this reason the Father loves me, because I lay down my life that I may take it up again. 18 No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This charge I have received from my Father.”

Certainly, it was “God” who raised His body, and Jesus is God. If not you have a contradiction.

So, the act of raising Jesus from the dead was not the operation merely of one person within the Trinity, but was a cooperative act done by the power of the divine substance.  The fact that the Bible teaches that God raised Jesus from the dead, and that Jesus raised Himself is yet another testament to Christ’s divinity.

Who created everything? WAIT FOR ANSWER

God Created Everything
Ephesians 3:9
9 and to bring to light for everyone what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God who created all things,

The Jehovah Witnesses will say that God created Jesus and Jesus created everything. This is not what the Bible says.

It says that God created everything alone!
Isaiah 44:24
Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer,
who formed you from the womb:
“I am the Lord, who made all things,
who alone stretched out the heavens,
who spread out the earth by myself,

This does not allow for a "junior partner" in creation. Jehovah clearly states that he Himself created the heavens alone

Furthermore look at Isaiah 48:13
13 My hand laid the foundation of the earth,
and my right hand spread out the heavens;
when I call to them,
they stand forth together.

But wait a second, Jesus gets the credit for creating everything.
John 1:2-3
2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Not one thing was made without Jesus. Well that pokes some hole's in the Jehovah Witness. They believe Jesus was a created being.

Colossians 1:16-20
16 For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. 17 And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent. 19 For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, 20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.

In Hebrews 1:10 The father continues from earlier
10 And,

“You, Lord, laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning,

and the heavens are the work of your hands;

In Genesis 1:2 we can see the Holy Spirit was also part of the creation
Genesis 1:2
2 The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

In the first chapter of Genesis God uses the word "Us"
Genesis 1:26
26 Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

In the very first verse of the Bible there are signs of plurality with a single action

Genesis 1:1
1 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

Let's look closer at this verse: ‘In the beginning God (plural) created (singular) the heavens and the earth’. Moses, the author of Genesis under the direction of the Holy Spirit, chose to use the Hebrew plural term elohim for God, rather than the singular el or the singular poetic form eloah. But he does use the singular form of the verb ‘created’! How awesome is this!

I would be remiss if I didn't include the words "I AM".

In Exodus 3:14 God tells moses what to call him
Exodus 3:14
14 God said to Moses, “I am who I am.” And he said, “Say this to the people of Israel, ‘I am has sent me to you.’”

The I AM WHO I AM part is YHWH often transliterated Yahweh or in English as Jehovah and written in capitals, Lord

Since the father can't be seen.
John 6:46
46 not that anyone has seen the Father except he who is from God; he has seen the Father.
Exodus 33:20
20 But,” he said, “you cannot see my face, for man shall not see me and live.”

I would argue that anytime someone was visited by God it was probably the reincarnate Jesus

So Genesis chapter 18, God visits Abraham.
Genesis 18 1-3
18 And the Lord appeared to him by the oaks of Mamre, as he sat at the door of his tent in the heat of the day. 2 He lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, three men were standing in front of him. When he saw them, he ran from the tent door to meet them and bowed himself to the earth 3 and said, “O Lord, if I have found favor in your sight, do not pass by your servant.

I say this because it is important to establish that Jesus was before Abraham and had a relationship with him.

Now let's look at John 8:56-59
56 Your father Abraham rejoiced that he would see my day. He saw it and was glad.” 57 So the Jews said to him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Abraham?” 58 Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.” 59 So they picked up stones to throw at him, but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple.

Jesus was claiming he was God. This is why they picked up stones to throw at him.

We should worship God only
Exodus 34:14
14(for you shall worship no other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God),

Jesus is worshipped in fact Jehovah tells the angels to worship him
Hebrews 1:6
6 And again, when he brings the firstborn into the world, he says,
“Let all God's angels worship him.”

Side Note: Here firstborn means pre-eminence not born or created.

John 9:37-38

37 Jesus said to him, “You have seen him, and it is he who is speaking to you.” 38 He said, “Lord, I believe,” and he worshiped him.

The Mary's worshipped Jesus
Matthew 28:9

9 And behold, Jesus met them and said, “Greetings!” And they came up and took hold of his feet and worshiped him.

The 11 worshipped him as well
Matthew 28:16-17
16 Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. 17 And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted.

Matthew 14:32-33

Is talking about when Jesus walked on water and Peter has faith enough to come out to Jesus
32 And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. 33 And those in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”

Here we have the famous Doubting Thomas story
John 20:27-29
27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and see my hands; and put out your hand, and place it in my side. Do not disbelieve, but believe.” 28 Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!” 29 Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

Please notice that Jesus as a Rabbi should of corrected him if it wasn't true.

Matthew 28:19
In the great commission...
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

Notice the word "Name" is not names.  I believe this is name is Jehovah

I could go on about how Jesus is "The First and the Last", "Alpha and Omega" and also that Both Jehovah and Jesus are the same "yesterday, today, and forever". The point is that there is overwhelming evidence that Jesus is God!

The Holy Spirit
I should say a few words about The Holy Spirit.

The Jehovah Witness will say that The Holy Spirit is the "God's active force" like "electricity"

But A person possesses intelligence, will/desire/purpose, moral consciousness, and individual existence. The Holy Spirit meets such a criteria.

I mentioned earlier that in Acts The Holy Spirit is God and how he was a big part of the creation.
Acts 5:3-4
You can see that The Holy Spirit can be lied to.

In Acts 13:2 The Holy Spirit Speaks
2 While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”

Acts 8:29
29 And the Spirit said to Philip, “Go over and join this chariot.”

In Ephesians 4:30 The Holy Spirit is grieved
30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

1 Corinthians 12:11 Has his own will
11 All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills.

Side note: Notice the Holy Spirit is called a he not a it like a force.

Matthew 12:31
31 Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.

Conceived Jesus
Matthew 1:20
20 But as he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.

Luke 1:35
35 And the angel answered her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy—the Son of God.

The Holy Spirit does so much more. As you can see The Holy Spirit is not a active force but the 3rd person of the trinity.

Hopefully by now I have proven to you that The Father is God, Jesus is God, and The Holy Spirit is God.  But the Father is not the Son and the Son is not the Holy Spirit.  There is only one God

I haven't covered all I could. I tried to make this short but cover all bases.
